Home>IT Leaders Program IntroductionThe IT Leaders Program An Introduction In May and June 2004, CIOs from ten universities were interviewed concerning potential content for an IT leadership development program. Each university expressed an interest in exploring a collaborative learning opportunity that includes the application of technology within higher education. Four schools, Stanford, Penn State, the University of Chicago, and Duke signed on for the initial round of what has come to be known as the IT Leaders Program. Since that time, other schools have participated or are currently participating. They include Brown, California at Berkeley, Columbia, Cornell, MIT, UPenn and Wisconsin.
